Jesse R. Butler’s Notable Role as Panelist in Florida Lawyer’s Mutual Insurance CLE

Jesse R. Butler, a Dickinson & Gibbons shareholder, recently served as a panelist on the Florida Lawyer’s Mutual Insurance Continuing Legal Education (CLE) presentation titled “Avoiding Conflicts of Interest – The Biggest Hidden Risk.” It is incumbent upon a lawyer to determine if a conflict of interest exists in accordance with Bar rules prior to taking on any new matter. This CLE program detailed how conflicts are a leading cause of malpractice lawsuits and ethics complaints, and how lawyers can and should avoid them.

Butler is a member of The Florida Bar’s Board of Governors, where he serves on the Disciplinary Review Committee and the Board Review Committee on Professional Ethics.
